More Christmas
Quick and easy is my motto this year. Next is to actually get them mailed which seems to be a problem for me. I get them made, and they sit there. Forever. LOL

CAS White
I finally used my border embossing folders . These are easy peasy. The photo is not the best quality but you might just make out the scoring lines on the blue card to, adds a little extra to the card.

Sistah Thank You
I finally got to meet again with my Kota Pen Pal "Sistahs" and we had a really good time. Of course we should have spent more time stamping and less time talking? I learned more about the SU watercolor crayons and now I want them all!!!! This is a thank you note for the Hostess with the Mostest Pinkerstinkerabella! It will be in the mail soon!

Birdhouse CASE
I loved the card I saw on SCS (see link below) and since I didn't have a Birdhouse stamp I just drew my own birdhouses. Simple, but I like the way they came out.

Casing
Hey! I did it! I finally was able to "force" myself not only to CASE a card, but to make more than one. I started with making these Easter cards for my penpals. Well, that didn't fly. I did send out a few to my aunts and my niece but the rest are on my desk waiting for next Easter.
So then because it was so easy and I really liked the layout I made several more and changed up the sentiments and colors, oh yeah, and changed the Embossing folders.

Using my stash!
So I am finally using this stamp that I got a few months ago at a "yard" sale at the Scrapbook store in town. I really am pleased that it worked out. I have made over 25 cards in the past couple of weeks for a request I had and this is one of the many. I will try to post the majority on here when I can. Siobella, I know you had a challenge to use an uninked stamp and I made this and forgot to post it to your Use it Tuesday blog. Sigh.

USE IT TUESDAY! RIBBON HOARDERS UNITE!
Ribbon, ribbon, who hoards the RIBBON? I do. Do you see how I finally cut into my hoarded ribbon? Do you also see that I only use like an inch and 1/2? Yep, it does NOT go under the green cardstock. Who would WASTE a whole strip of ribbon that does not show. Yes, I know. I need therapy. This card fulfills 2 challenges. The SCS Color challenge and the Use it Tuesday challenge. Woohoo!!!

Stamping FUN!
I had a simply mavelous stamping day yesterday. My youngest sister and I have been busy making trivets and placemats and other sewing projects, but since she has gone to visit her daughter I took a break from sewing and did some stamping. AT LAST!!!
I wanted to get some fast and easy cards together to give away when I see my family at the end of the month. I am a BIG fan of Biggan on Splitcoast Stampers so these 2 cards are inspired by her gallery. The 1st one I did was not a total success, (actually neither of the cards worked out like I wanted but oh well) but I will be doing more of these in different colors and with different sentiments. Hopefully my technique will improve.

Use It Tuesday - Guest Designer Card
Here is the Use it Tuesday Guest Designer Card. Whew, such an honor and very nervewracking. I love my new MS Butterfly border punch. The big Yellow Rose is made using the owl from my Cricut cart, the little flowers using my small EK Sucess punch. The scallop square was cut from the Accent Essential Cricut Carl. Too cool!

CASE of Mary's Card
I loved the card that Mary made for a challenge sometime ago and have been wanting to try to CASE it. The scoring is tricky but I finally got a reasonable likeness. Check out Mary's card here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1899698

Use it Tuesday Challenge, another Card!
I stamped a little yesterday and finished it up today. Wow, cut into another "hoarded" sheet of DSP. I was reading a post where the writer was asking what to do with her out of style DP so I decided, well, duh! DP does go out of "style" so I better quit hoarding and start using! Thanks for the Challenge!

Use it Tuesday Challenge
I should never have stamped today. What a mess I made! Don't you hate days like that? I started to do another challenge over on Splitcoast to combine with this one but I totally messed that up so this is what I ended up with. I did cut and mangle not ONE but FIVE sheets of DP!!! AAAACCKKK! talk about totally getting the shakes! lol.
As an added bonus, I combined the 1st Use it Tuesday Challenge, ink up a stamp you have never used, and the second one, to use your hoarded DP. My good friend and Kota Pen Pal Connsie sent me a fabulous set of Hero Arts stamps which I just couldn't wait to use. I plan to use more DP and post my cards.

New Post at last!
I am so glad I finally put together something!!! I have been trying to stamp for several days with not luck. No creativity moving at all none of the challenges really motivated me so I just put this together and it made me happy. We have been having snow so I am not a happy camper, want the sunshine back!

USE001 Use it Tuesday Challenge
Wow, the very first challenge! I hope I can be faithful in doing these challenges, I spent lots of time trying to figure out where to use the new butterfly punch I bought at Michael's for 45% on Sunday. I also used a TAC sentiment that I had never used before, so like my friend Lisa, this is a TWOFER!!! Woohoo!

Stamping Again, at last
Life gets in the way of stamping sometimes, isn't that just a pain? LOL! I did the Color Challenge at SCS an boy was it a challenge! Here is the result. River rock, Basic Grey (I only had Going Grey so that is what I used) and White. I really did use Going Grey on the raised embossed portion but it looks black.

Bluebird Thank You
This was for the CAS challenge, but I have a hard time leaving all that blank white space, so I embossed the background, still not happy, then I added chalk, NOW I am happy. I used 2 pieces from my "stuff" box. The bread tag and the piece of Melon Mambo.
CARDSTOCK: Melon Mambo, Natural
STAMPS: SU Pocket Silhouettes, SU Short and Sweet

Bright Silhouette
GRRRR, Our computer crashed and I was going into withdrawal not having a computer. We had to buy a new one so now I have to learn how to use a new photo program and we had to rearrange the furniture to accomadate the new computer so my photo taking area has changed. Ugh!!!

Gift Set
I suddenly remembered that I had the sunflower nesties and I felt the need to use my new Big Shot, lol. I cut the paper for the flap of the envelope just a teeny weeny bit too small, but I actually like the way it came out. The center is a daisy cut with the the Cricut and I used a cardstock with a white core so I could sand it and make it pope out.

Nail Art Inspiration
The Inspiration Challenge at SCS had a really awesome website that shows nailart, so much to draw from it is unbelievable. I used another one of my scraps from my "stuff" box, the sentiment. This has been hanging out for so long I am glad I found a place to use it.
CARDSTOCK: White, Black, Yoyo Yellow
STAMPS: Unknown, I got it from a class but I think it is computer generated.

Gradient Challenge, Testing
I am making two posts today only because I am playing with the paint program trying to create a Watermark. This card was done for the Free 4 All Challenge and the Ways to Use it Challenge on SCS.
I again used a discarded item from my "Stuff" box.
CARDSTOCK: White, Yoyo Yellow
STAMPS: SU Well Scripted
INK: Versamark, More Mustard, Yoyo Yellow, Marigold morning, Really rust
Queen For The Day Challenge
How fitting is it that the Queen of Everything does the Queen for the day Challenge? LOL. It looks like it is a fairly new challenge, this is the first time I have seen it. I decided I was in the mood to watercolor , not my best effort, but passable. The flowers look pink but they are actually a plum.

Butterfly Bliss
Hello, hello. I am still stamping and still using my Wal Mart Colorbok pad of paper! Isn't it PURTY? I combined the Sketch Challenge with the Way to Use It challenge. I love these colors, sigh. I am again using up a scrap that was sitting on my desk. I used a Cuttlebug die to cut a green thanks for another card sometime ago. I was left with the negative image and since it was cut out of a square I thought to myself maybe I can use the negative for a stencil. This was a better idea I think.
CARDSTOCK: Colorbok DP, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, White
STAMPS: Stampendous Butterfly

Snow snow go away!
I almost didn't do the CAS challenge because it involved snow but I did it anyway. Simple but nice. The picture is really bad, but it is hard to photograph white.
This was my second card for the Featured Stamper Challenge and continuing with my resolve to use up the images and things I cut out or stamped or embossing for other projects and never used. The Swirl Panels have been hanging out awhile and the flower, but the Thinking of you has been hanging out for YEARS! lol. I am amazed it was still in good enough condition to use! It is from an old retired SU set Rosevine Wreath.

Motivator and Happiness always
I struggle quite a bit with this card. I am not good at following sketches. I always seem to want to change something, but I resisted the urge! The task was to chose a Sketch, chose the colors, and choose the technique from previous challenges. I chose the "make your own DP" technique.
CARDSTOCK: Rich Razzleberry, Always Artichoke, Barely Banana
STAMPS: Butterfly by Stampendous, Sentiment Hero Arts
INK: Always Artichoke, Rich Razzleberry, Barely Banana
The card below just kind of fell together, I had the piece of DP, the flower and the image sitting in a box on my desk. I hand drew the image quite sometime ago.
