Another Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I did recently and mailed off. Our GS Connor's birthday falls on the same day as my twin cousins Orpha and Ruth. Then the following day, today, is my cousin Polly's birthday. Do you think I managed to make them cards? NOOOOO! I did call to wish a HB tho, does that count? That's what they get for giving me such a hard time because I am 2 and a half months older than they are.

I am having company this weekend, two of my sisters and some cousins coming today from 400 miles away! Lot's of fun and laughter in store for sure. Lot's of eating too. I will not be posting anything until next week again, but what the heck, everyone needs a break!!! Hope the weather get's better and the rain goes away!

Birthday card for Connor

This card uses another one of my new TAC stamps. It is the same layout as the Moo card because I made it on the same day and I didn't want to tax my brain with figuring out a different layout. I did not take a picture of the pull out portion but I made a pocket using yellow cardstock and layering it onto black and tucked money into the pocket. I don't have many "Masculine" stamps and as he turned 15 most of what I have it too young for him such as balloons and hedgehogs etc.

My Stamping Desk

This is the view of my stamping desk from my computer. It does not always look like this trust me! Note that my honey installed 2 lights underneath the overhang and it lights up my area with NO shadows which is awesome. My various toys are within my reach.

My Stamp Room

Left side of the stamp room. Bill made me 4 ribbon racks and two racks for my scissors which I have totally filled up. My Mom made me a holder for my paper towels. My BIL made me a cabinet for my stamps. All in all this is a Happy Place!

Pink TAC DP

Trying to use my new TAC DP and various other embellishments that I have gotten recently. This went together fairly fast and sat there for days while I decided what sentiment, if any, I should use. I used my Scor-Pal to do the lattice on the white strip in the middle. I wish I was earning commission on the Scor-Pal. I have shown it to many people who have then proceeded to buy it.
Supplies used: TAC DP, SU square punch, 1" and 1 1/4", Scor-Pal, Ric Rac, Flowers, and Brad are Walmart finds, SU Whisper White CS and the Sentiment is SU Summer by the Sea.

My Pet Buck

Just wanted to show one of the critters that inhabit our property. I was so pleased that he stood still long enough to take his picture. The deer pass through our property and munch on anything we have growing in the yard. But some of them just are gorgeous !

Rocky Road Forever

We have a running joke on SCS Kota's Pen Pals about my Rocky Road Ice Cream addiction. It is part of my signature and avatar. Thus the Title of my blog. My SCS name is queenoe, which stands for Queen of everything, but Rocky Road is so much fun, and there are soooooooooo many Queens out there I thought I would go with the least used. I may change my mind later, but for now it will suffice.

When I saw this TAC set I immediately had to have it just because of the little moo with the ice cream cone and of course it became a card for one of my pen pals, because who else would GET it?

Now that I have started my blog, let's see if I can keep it up. I will try to post as much as I can but we'll see. Cards are my addiction, rubber stamping is so much fun and you get to create without having to draw. Although I will say that since I have started stamping I discovered I can actually draw better that I thought I could. Come on by to visit when you can and enjoy whatever happens to strike my fancy that day!!

Coca Cola Room

This is posted for Kittykat. Just wanted to let her know that the Coca Cola Napkin Holder she sent me has a fine home. It is sitting to the left on the middle shelf. Thanks Kittykat!!!!!!
