CAS weekend

It was a Clean and simple day yesterday. Using some of my new stuff. Looks like buttons on every card for a while!! LOL This card started out to be even more simple but I stamped the sentiment crooked so I stamped it again on another piece of cardstock to cover it up!

This is for my sister who gave me several little spools of the gingham ribbon. Love the clean and simple, and the button is chipboard from the Michaels $1.00 bin around 25 different button shapes.

Spring Swap - Secret Sistah!

I'm BACK!!! I recently took a trip down to the valley, (we live in the mountains) to visit family for my birthday. When my husband asked, what do you want for your birthday, I said I want to go to visit my family. But I digress. I am in a Pen Pal group on SCS and we decided to have a Spring SWAP. I promised to post a picture of the goodies I received from my Secret Sistah!! The WONDERFUL Kittykat was my SS and look at all the goodies she sent me, Flowers (do I LOVE flowers or what?) buttons, ribbon, brads, and Stamps!!!! I got the Sugar Nellie stamp that I wanted and I forgot to put it the picture! (bummer dude!) I will post when I actually make a card with it.

Full Moon

I was on my way to work this morning and this is the sight I saw driving down the road. Isn't pretty? I just happened to have my camera with me. I took a full shot then I zoomed in on it. There is a lot of snow still up on the mountain and I just could not believe how big the moon was. I took three shots and then it disappeared behind the mountain. AHHHHHHH!!!

Easter Card

My Pen Pal Dianne sent me a bunch of Top Note die cuts and I just love them. I wish they would work in the CB (maybe they do, does anyone know?)
This came together fairly quickly, for me anyway. I had the Toile Blossom (SU) image colored for a long time just sitting on my desk. I embossed the card base with my FAVORITE Swiss Dot CB embossing folder. Sacrificed one of my top notes, cut down so I could use it as a reverse mask to sponge the inside of the top note. SU Christ is Risen stamp was stamped in clear Versamark and embossed with Gold detailed embossing powder. I love the Gold embossing, it looks so rich and elegant. I used Mono Mul.ti adhesive to attach the Top Note, and to attach the Toile Blossom. Glued the Prima, then used these nifty self-adhesive crystals I found at WalMart. I love those little things. Found them in clear, pink, and blue. TFL!
