Christmas Wreath Card
After spending "hundreds" of dollars and more on my stamping stuff how could I not make a special card for my DH? I cut a silhouette circle on my cricut and used my MS branch punch for the branches. I had this one sheet of green cs which I really really like and I have no idea where I got it. Since I made a vow to stop hoarding stuff I resolved to use my really old stuff. I punched the little "ornaments" from red and gold mirror CS that I have also had to years and couldn't bring my self to cut up. This picture is not the best for details but it is really pretty IRL.

New Glasses
I recently went to the eye doctor and ordered new glasses. While waiting to pick my glasses up I noticed these really cute little purses on display. Imagine my surprise when I learn that not only were they GLASS cases, they gave me a free one to put my old glasses in. How cute is this little Purse? Not really sensible to carry in my purse, but I keep it on my nightstand to put my glasses in at night. Just had to share!

Gold Winterhouses
Silver Winterhouses
Here are my two Silver Winter House cards. Love this Cuttlebug embossing folder! The hard part was getting the cord to stay. I swiped versamark on white cardstock, covered with silver embossing powder and then used my MS snowflake punch. I found out that they are very fragile and brittle though. They tend to break off so I only made a couple silver.

Blue & Green Ornament Card
I took a trip down south to visit my Mom a couple of weeks ago. While I was there, I took advantage of the fact that there is a lot of shopping options down there, and visited Michaels. I was able to find all kinds of wonderful goodies. MS punches, $1.00 stamps, Christmas stamps marked 30% off. And among these a package of 3D Christmas Ornament stick ons. Too cool. I tried to match the colors as close as I could. This card is lacking something. I should have put a little gold ribbon under the long ornament? (too late now, it is well and truly STUCK on) I just might go back and touch around the edges with Versamark and emboss in gold. If I do, I will re post it so y'all can see it.
It will have to be given to one of my neighbors as I don't think it will survice the PO. Sorry PenPals!! LOL!

Snowflake/Poinsettia Christmas Card
I love this card. It just fell together quickly. I had the base already embossing with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder. I had planned to use it on another card but it didn't work so into my unused box it went. The last time I was at a class at the LSS the owner had made some cards using this poinsettia die. I asked her if I could cut some out and she said sure. I didn't like the leaf die that came with it so I used my MS branch and MS Rose Leaf punches for foliage. The MS snowflake punch to kind of fill in the blank upper part. This was so simple and fast I want to make more, but wouldn't you know it, my Swiss Dots embossing folder is MIA. I can't figure out what I did with it. I have one I cut apart maybe I can use that. Or buy another one. We'll see.
I made several different cards this weekend and will be posting the as I have time this week. I am really stuck on traditional colors and I will try to break out of the BOX this following weekend.
